you can have sex until your water breaks...yes some people claim it made them go into labor but usually this is when they are already closer to their due date and you're starting to thin out. good luck!

As long as you are both comfortable with it, and your doctor hasn't placed any restrictions on you, you can continue to have sex, safely, until the day you deliver (as long as your water hasn't broken; after that happens, the baby is no longer protected from infections.)

That being said, if you are cramping afterwards, you might want to impose an early abstinence. Everything is shifting around, and your cervix, at 34 weeks, is sitting lower than it did earlier in your pregnancy. Try a different position, one that will give you a little less penetration.

In my previous two pregnancies, I continued to be sexually active, with no danger to myself or the baby, until within days of delivery (in my first, I had intense contractions for nearly a week, so I wasn't too interested! But, in my second, we were still having sex two days before our daughter was born!) In my case, it didn't bring on labor, even though I was actually OVERDUE. But, I've been told (by my midwife!) that it IS possible, later on in the pregnancy; prostoglandins in semen can help ripen the cervix, and orgasm can bring on contractions. This doesn't work for every woman, though; and, at 34 weeks, it shouldn't do a thing to you.

Good luck to you . . .

If you feel up to doing the deed at 34 weeks pregnant go ahead(I think sex feels better when you are pregnant, because of all the blood flow to your pelvic area)
Sex is perfectly safe during most pregnancy's(check with your OBGYN if you have any problems like low lying placenta, if you Had previous premature labor, or miscarriages)
There is no medical evidence that having sex during pregnancy will cause you to go into premature labor. However stimulating your nipples can speed up the production of the oxytocin which can cause you to contact when you are close to you due date.
If you feel really bad after intercourse try having oral sex which can be just as fun.
I know what you mean, when I was pregnant and had intercourse I would feel nauseated for some reason(not from my partner maybe because you get all hot and sweaty, lol.
And also you blood pumps faster and your lungs are working harder when you are pregnant, so imagine that after you have sex and it is even faster.
Hope this helps, and congrats on your upcoming birth!

My doctor told me, when I was pregnant, if I could still have sex comfortably, then it was alright to do. But if you are having discomfort, then it probably isn't a good idea. As far as early labor, I don't think it will. You are going to have cramping and discomfort from now, all the way up till you have your baby. I wish you all the best and congrats on your little one.

It's pretty much safe for you to have sex until your water breaks. But late in pregnancy, take it easy. The crampy-ness is normal, the hormones in semen cause light contractions, that can become labor in another month, but won't until you're closer to being due. Be sure to keep yourself well hydrated, it will help reduce the cramps.

Having the baby early. doubt it. If sex hurts afterward try to do it softer if not then it's best to not do it. It's perfectly safe unless the doctor says otherwise.

Yes I think it is safe just dont be rough. It may cause braxton hicks contractions but if you are not to rough it wont hurt you or the baby. If you are scared about it just ask your Dr.
