Is it a place to raise children? What part is best? How about the school districts there? Ever heard of carolina forest?

I live in carolina forest. I love it! There's always something to do and the people are very nice.
You can check out information about schools, etc. on my website www.llord.exitgrandstrand.com just click on the yellow "move" tab and it will tell you information about schools, population, demographics, entertainment, etc.

Well all I can tell you is what I feel about Myrtle Beach, SC. I love it so much I plan on retireing there. The people are friendlier, the weather is amazing and there is no place on earth I would rather live.
Carolina Forest is a very nice section of Myrtle Beach with alot of new construction style homes. However just about 15 minutes outside of Myrtle Beach is Conway SC. Conway is a beautiful little place on the Peedee River that has that small town feel. You can still find a barber shop with a barber pole out front and the neighbors and shop owners will smile and say hello. It has a real "Mayberry" feel to it and its just minutes from all the fun that Myrtle Beach has to offer.

Yes Carolina forest is a nice place You do not want your children in the city schools!!!! Surfside is a very nice area and a great family place and the schools there are pretty decent. There are a lot of drugs and other things you would not want ur kids to be around in and around the main streets of Myrtle Beach. But if you stay away from the city it is OK

No it is not a familey place I live here i know. All is her is the ocean and parties. It is a great vacation place. But not a place to raise a familey.
