Who do you think would make a great replacement? I personally would love to see Goldie Hawn. She was on a couple of weeks ago as a guest host, and she was fantastic!! So who would you hire to fill the seat?

I think someone with a bit of class should fill the seat . I have a few suggestions like Sally Field .olympia dukakass, shirley mclaine ,dolly parton someone along those lines maybe . I just think the view could use a touch of class now .Or maybe even susan sarrandon .

I love Sherri Shepherd (sp?) when she's on as guest host and think she'd do great as a regular.

Don't think I've ever seen her even on the show but I think Geena Davis would be interesting as a potential replacement. Brilliant, funny, well-spoken, successful, beautiful, and a strong woman. What more could you ask for in a host?

Hopefully the replacement will lean a little more toward the middle and somewhat balance out the recent 3 to 1 shift that the show has had.

I personally like Sheri Shepard. I have thought for a few months now that Sheri would be great as a permanent cohost of The View. I can't think of anyone else I would like...I'll have to give it some more thought.

they will need to find someone very out spoken and can keep a little bit of controversy goin in the show but some one more down to earth than the other women on right now, i think it will be hard to replace rosie

It would have to be someone that is not afraid to contribute their opinion and creating controversy by standing up for what they believe in. I think that is what has boosted the ratings this year - the fact that these women don't agree just to be agreeable. (Making nice). Each one is strong in their beliefs and their opinions, which is important, no matter whose side you are on.

Without Meredith VIera and then with Rosie, the show has gone downhill. It's long past its prime and should be cancelled.

Rosie can't be replaced but if they have to get someone

I would like to see Rose Ann Barr. She's funny and out spoken.

That's a pretty good idea.

I wish we knew how to write Elisabeth and thank her for standing for her beliefs. She is too nice for that show. I'm very sorry she had to deal with Rosie --The Queen ---woops, I mean the King of Mean!

They talk over one another for an hour long argument it seems. Thats when I switch channels.

I hope Rosie doesn't get another program!!!!!!

Shari Shepard!! Rosanne Barr!! Either one would be fine.

Rosanne sold me when someone asked her what she thought about Paris going to jail, and she said she was happy about it, that it "almost made up for OJ".....lol.....too funny!

Shari is my #1 pick though.
