I am 4ft.tall mother whose baby was born in October 1968. I carried to full term and he has not got OI. He was born by C-section iof course.
At that time I was told that "we don't know how we'll go with you, because we do not have anything to go by."
I would like to know if I am/was a pioneer in this area of medicine.

There have been many women who have given birth who have what you do. They are monitored closely since there can be more bone loss during a pregnancy and it takes them longer to recover from it than others. Your doctor probably wasn't familiar with it, you might have been the first case he had dealt with.
