no I will not miss her and yes I am happy that she is finally gone . I think now the show should add some class to it and pick a decent respectfull co host and get back to what it started out to be an informative talk show with a woman's point of view .

I agree with Momma Schmitt.

And yes, Jim San, we are very aware there is a war going on, people are dying every day. People are also dying in Dar Fur - genocide.
I think it puts this whole feud thing btween Rosie and Elizabeth into perspective, for sure: Not important compared to bigger issues out there.

But also, I think the opinions expressed on the View brought the war issues to light pretty much every day.

A frequent discussion was about what is more important to the media each day: Paris going to jail or the fact that X number of soldiers died that day?

I will not miss Rosie. I do not have a problem with people voicing their opinions, BUT when they don't agree with yours & insist on arguing w/you, brow beating you, having to get the last word, & just plain ol' bullying you with their point of view. Well then I think that the line is crossed. You have to have respect for other people's opinion if you want them to respect yours.
I will once again watch the View when Rosie is gone, I quit watching it because of her, so I did miss the fallout between Elisabeth & her.

The view in general is very boring at least Rosie made it more interesting

No, I won't miss her. I really enjoyed her at first. The strange thing is, I agree with most of her politics, I just don't like the way she talks to Elizabeth about them, and I am not that much of an Elizabeth fan. She needs to learn to tone it down a bit, I may not agree with Elizabeth, but she is entitled to her "view".

Do you know there is a war going on and people are dieing. American soldiers and Iraqi babies. Who cares anything about Rosie or the View. They are not important.

I never watched The view. I used to like Rosie a long time ago. Then she just plain got wierd. And I don't say that just because she came out of the closet. Just that she seems to be trying to push it down your throat all the time. Ellen came out and I still like her. She's funny and cute and seems to be just plain nice.

Probably happier. Now at least we can stop hearing about her on every other show. She got more publicity this way than she ever did for any of her so-called talent.
