Me and my boyfriend drink eachothers blood, we do it safe and we don't take a lot. It is a way to express our trust and our love for eachother, we share our lives. It is romantic and in no way violent. We are 9 months together and we never drink from other people. But I was wondering if there are still any dangers that i should think about ?

Yes we are both tested and what we do doesn't hurt at all.

No, I don't have a thirst it's just something we llike to do but we don't have to. We're not vampires and we're not addicted to blood.

That's great if you're vampires, but otherwise -- trust me, there are better ways to express your love.

Great way to get STD's if you're both not careful. AIDS, Hepatitis (All kinds). Would kind of make safe sex a moot point, right? You can carry the AIDS virus for quite a while before a test shows up positive, and if either of you has sex with someone else, well, you can catch all kind of nasty things.

I don't condemn your expression, but in this day and age, it really makes no sense to be naive about such matters either. Hope it all works out. Any damage has already been done most likely, and as long as you remain monogamous, nothing much should change that.

There are a lot of blood borne pathogens besides those mentioned. There are immunization issues and host of other stuff. My advice is stop it. There are a lot of ways to show affection for one another. Blood sucking or drinking leaves both of you open to illnesses and bacteria and viruses you never imagined.

This really is very bizarre. You could very easily end up sharing an infection with each other. Can't you find a way to show your affection without sharing blood.

I think this is a bad idea ... trust is great and all, but are you willing to literally stake your life on it? In the past few days I have seen tons of posts from people who have cheated on a boy/girl friend - they feel horrible about it - but still they did it. I would like to believe my husband would never cheat on me, but things can happen.
Be careful.

Umm... depending where you cut, social stigma from cuts/scarring. I'd still suggest regular testing because some STDs can be spred other ways.
