Not sure, but there was one you went through all the months of the year and the days.

It was many, many years ago that I was in school.
Didn't we have fun with the the little chants we had as we jumped. I was talking with some old (I mean old) friends about just this game a few months back. We all started chanting the little verses we could remember. Then I went on line when I got home and came up with a lot of them. I don't recall jumping to one about the different grades you go through, but I can see where that would work out very well, and if someone doesn't come up with the words of it for you, I am sure you and your friends could come up with a chant of your own. Have fun.
I think a lot of the games that were played in the past were as much or more fun as all the electronic games of today and you could sure get a lot more exercise out in the school yard.

I don't remember that one. I remember Red Hot Pepper. And "Down in the meadow where the green grass grows, there sits (name) as pretty as a rose, first come love, then comes marriage and then comes (name) with a baby carriage."
And one that had something like "salute the captain, courtsey to the Queen, touch the bottom of the dirty submarine..."
