Open the documents in Wordpad or Word
From the File menu select "Save as..."
Right under where you type the filename you can select the file type
Change that to either "doc" or "rft" and the file will be save in that format.

Open the file in Microsoft Word, Then File -> Save As... then choose Rich Text Format for "Save as type:".

Just go to tools in my documents. Hit the tab that says view, then un check hide extensions for known files. Change the file

What's the name? At the end of the name is .doc right? Change it to .rft by clicking the left hand button on the mouse on the file and then click rename and change it to .rft

Have you tried running Write. In the run command, just put the word Write and hit enter.
