Because Bush has been borrowing heavily from china to finance his war for oil. If China ever calls in their markers, the U.S. will be bankrupt and we will all be speaking Mandarin.

it isn't actual that China and u . s . hate one yet another. even with getting a larger protection rigidity it really is maximum not likely that China might want to invade and overthrow the u . s .. to commence with the u . s . is fairly confusing to invade. Secondly besides the actual shown reality that the CChinesemilitary is more advantageous in numbers the u . s . has the most experienced, properly educated and properly equipped protection rigidity. the US protection rigidity makes use of US produced protection rigidity kit. The chinese use chinese produced kit which on the battlefield has been shown to be not virtually as good as US products as is the case with some thing made in China. China has more advantageous money than any authorities in the hot day, yet their us of a is so polluted and they have such fairly some inner issues that an ooverthrowof the u . s . in basic terms isn't possible. China has already overtaken the u . s . as being the authorities with the most money oon hand it extremely is an truly different tale.

Yeah, we're so scared of China that we import almost everything from them. I think we should be more afraid of China than we are. Ever hear of the Korean War? It wasn't just the North Koreans fighting. Ever hear what happened during their Cultural Revolution? Not pretty. How about those college kids who protested for democracy at Tienemen Square? Ever hear from them? No, because they're either dead or in prison making bottle caps. China is not a country we should take lightly.

Some. Our government? No. Careful about it? Yes.
Be stupid not to be. China doesn't have our best interests at heart any more than we have theirs. We have our own best interests first.

Why would anyone think differently? Why would we NOT be cautious of a Socialist nation that accepts as one of it's basic premisses that it's goal is to take over the world?

It would be as if the world was uncaring while the United States expanded it's "Manifest Destiny", an idea it abandoned many decades ago, to include the whole world!

One wonders why you lower case, America, but upper case China. Telling, that.

China is our biggest creditor. And, since George W. Bush's reckless foreign and economic policies have now put American taxpayers TRILLIONS of dollars in debt, it's only a matter of time until China 'cuts up our credit card'. At that time, the U.S.A. will find itself in the same circumstance as Russia is in today: a weak military that can't be financed.
So, as soon as that happens, China will simply come over here with its 3-million-man Army and TAKE whatever it wants: our real estate; our military hardware; our banks; our weapons of mass destruction; our natural resources; even our women if there's a huge demand for western women on the international sex-slave market. We ought to be scared of China; as the U.S.A. deteriorates into a third-class country, China is about to replace us as the world's biggest super power. -RKO- 05/25/07

"Scared" is the wrong word. "Concerned" is better.

1. They outnumber us.
2. They own a lot of our debt.
3. We have a massive trade imbalance with them.
4. We have a treaty with Taiwan, which China considers its property.
5. They are using their new found wealth to upgrade their military.
6. Their population is more educated (I believe 250 days a year of Chinese students).
7. Superior culture in terms of nuclear family, work ethic, and toleration of crime. I'm not saying I'd want to live there, but they are more effective in these areas.
8. A lot of our old manufacturing jobs are now over there.

Is that enough?

it is becoming a huge power, imagine the US is filling a water balloon, but forgot how to turn off the faucet

China does not have a more powerful military, just a larger one. The US is not afraid of a direct conflict with china because China cannot afford the huge price its still relatively small but growing economy would have to pay to mobilize such a large force.
Catch is, China's economy is growing rapidly and as such it may soon be able to afford that bill and start tossing its military might by invading its neighbors, namely Taiwan.

Why is China trying to poison us.
First detected in pets, with no changes to the demographics of human kidney failure (cdc). Well if you get cut and can't see more blood on your skin, weren't you already bleeding?

We have a problem in not knowing where the ingredients in our foods come from.

China covered up its explorations of the world. I see them as a force of darkness, an anti-renaissance entity.
