I usually buy the name brand ones because I really haven't had much luck with the generic ones i have bought either the tabs fall off or they leak or my daughter breaks out from them. Any way we are having finacial problems (due to gas prices) so i can't afford the brand name ones any more. So what kind have you had success with? Thank you!

BTW: my daughter is 9 months if that matters and is in size 4.

I prefer the White Cloud brand from Wal-Mart.

I've tried Parent's Choice. They're cheaper, but they tend to run small and leak.

I've tried the Big Lots/Odd Lots brand. They suck. The tabs fall off and they leak bad.

I've tried the Kroger brand. They sucked, too. Ran small, leaked, and the tabs kept ripping off.

I've tried the CVS brand. They're supposed to be like Huggies, but they're not. They also leak and fall off for some reason.

Oh yeah, and I've tried the Target ones. We had a lot of leaks with those too.

We've only had leaks with the White Cloud diapers maybe twice and that was only because my daughter was having a growth spurt and slept for 13-15 hours. Now she normally sleeps for 12 hours and we never have leaks.

We use Huggies. when she came home we had Pampers.. they gave her a rash. Similac Advanced formula. I am looking for a formula that is generic as we are running out fast during the end of the month. I'm thinking about Member's Mark formula since we shop at Sam's. We get 200 Huggies diapers for $35, size 3.

I use White cloud, from walmart. I used them for my son the entire time he was on diapers. I prefer them to the name brand. My daughter is now six months and that is what she uses to. I have never had a leak problem with them. If anything they work better overnight than any name brand I have ever tried. Good luck!!!!

Some babies break out from all generic brands. Mine broke out with all except white cloud. Even with those I made sure I changed her often. I was changing so often that by the time I was finished with two bags of generics, I could have bought a bag of brand names that would have lasted longer. So I decided to switch to Luvs, which really isn't that bad in price. Hope this helps.

If you have a Sam's Club around you, and know someone with a Sam's membership I definitely suggest buying the Member's Mark diapers. You get a huge box of them pretty cheap, they last a while. My son is in a size 4 as well, and they're great, they actually work better than the Huggies and Pampers we used to use

I love to use LUVS, they are pretty cheap, if you want even cheaper than that, I also use white cloud from Wal-Mart, they are great as well. Sometimes I use White Cloud during the day and LUVS at night, just because I know for a fact that LUVS won't leak on me, I have never had an issue. I have not had any issues with White Cloud either though, I just know LUVS works great.

I have tried White Cloud, the Wal-Mart brand and the Target brand and honestly I think that I liked the Target brand the best. They seemed to fit my son better than the others and they didn't leak. But try them all and see what works best for your daughter.

Ive had problems with everything cheaper than Luvs. I used Huggies for my daughter and loved them but she eventually went into Luvs, they're just so much cheaper. My son went into Luvs when he was only a few months old. I tried him in Luvs as a newborn but his shape didnt match with the diaper. Now thats all he wears. My daughter is now potty trained.

Edit to add: Ive tried to target brand because I had some given to me. I like them but I just rather Luvs.

I have had really good luck with White Cloud. Have used them with both a girl and boy and only had minor leaks*. They are good diapers for the most part!! A box of four packages is about 21.00 dollars. I think it is about 96 size four diapers (my son is in this size and this is what I buy).

*leaks were my fault.......put on wrong or let it go to long without a change.....

Actually, Consumer Reports did a study on this a while ago, and was not able to come up with a single answer - why? Because each child was built differently, so a different diaper would fit him or her better. I think you kind of have to try a couple of different kinds...
Good luck!
