lol... what a great question... I would go as far to say that they worship it and would do anything for it... after all... what else are they working for in this life?
A Star for you...

I actually do wish that they would take the phrase off our money. The separation of church and state should be taken more seriously. I don't trust in or believe in god, but yet it's all over any currency I have. That's too bad.

How about we go ahead and leave atheists alone? They've got enough problems with trying to squeeze in everything before they die and fade to nothingness. It's amazing how much atheists hate God, even though they don't believe in Him.... That would be like me harboring severe resentment for leprechauns. If I did that, I'd probably get really REALLY pissed at anyone who even mentioned leprechauns!
Honestly, I have no problem with atheists, my wife is one and I am always willing to listen to what she has to say. The problem comes when believers and non-believers get into squabbling matches with one another for no good reason. I say, if they don't believe in God, then why does it piss them off so much to see that word in public? After all, isn't it JUST another word to them?

I have a black permanent marker I carry specifically for the purpose of lining out that phrase on all paper money that crosses my hands. More people should do the same.
Nothing against "god" as an entity or a concept, more of a protest against wackjobs who claim to speak on his behalf.

Their motto is "In Gold we Trust". I've offered to take money off the hands of those offended by the motto, that's just the kind of guy I am.

It doesn’t say “In God we trust” anywhere on my visa debit card. Actually, “In God we trust” replaced "E Pluribus Unum" in 1956.
