I have my eye on this one

But I have no idea if it will run on my computer. I have a PCI express slot, but i have no idea if it supports vista, or if i even have a sutable power supply. How do I check to make sure?

This card is a decent card and the price is great! However, I know you’re concerned about the Power Supply and you should be. If your Power Supply doesn’t exceed the recommendation then the card will not operated correctly. What kind of computer do you have? Main stream computer companies such as HP, Dell, Gateway, etc use OEM PSU (power supply unit) and are hard to find the specs. If you did buy from one of those companies, I would predict you have a 300W- 350W PSU. You could run the 7800 on 350W PSU but I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU TO DO SO. Find what kind of main adaptor your mother board have (20pin or 24pin) and go buy a new PSU. Go on new egg and shop for a 400W-500W PSU. When shopping for PSUs, stay away from cheap ones because they are low quality PSUs. As for VISTA compatibility, go to Nvidia.com and look up their list of Vista compatible cards.
