I agree with some of the other posters.I bought an acer for around $650 and it came with a built in camera and a dvd burner.So far so good have had it almost a year.

Avoid acer, emachines and gateway, they are generally considered substandard quality. Value for the dollar, Dell inspiron. They have a very nicely configured 1501 for 499 right now. If you dont need it now, wait till july. Price wars with ALL brands will be going strong and intel will discount on july 22. top VALUE (not high end brands like falcoln, xps, voodoo and alien) brands are dell, hp, compac and toshiba.
