The Flash Gorden episodes on The Captain Video Show was the very best. Captain Video was the host. Would come on every weekday night at 6:00, real rocket ships with real rocket motors! Just great. Better than Kukla Fran and Ollie which came on the other channel which I never really got, it had no rocket ships.
If you stayed up late you got to watch the weekly Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. Or maybe Jackie Gleason and the Honeymooners. Or even Victory at Sea.
On Saturday mornings there was Rocky Jones, Space Ranger.
Also Winky Dink on Sundays was pretty cool if you had the plastic Winky Dink screen.
This was all before the first Mickey Mouse Club show was televised, the mid 1950's, way before Captain Kangaroo, Bewitched, Mary Tyler Moore, Married with Children, Curb Your Enthusium. You shoulda been there.

I had way too many. Nick at night actually was playing I love Lucy and Bewitched..before they created tv land ..and I used to love to watch those two shows, and Get Smart, but I also loved the Wayans brothers.

'The Power Puff Girls" I was totally obsessed! I was a power puff girl for halloween, I had the dolls, and I still have a wooden plaque of them in my room that has my name on it!
They were my idols growing up, and I would have not changed a thing about that being my favorite show growing up.
