first take it slow and if their shy kiss them on the cheek but if your both confortable then a quick kiss on the lips.

In between peck on lips and then long on lips, don't be scared if you really like this girl, you'll be fine. Close your eyes and go for it, be relaxed and don't think about it too much, just do it, it will come out naturally. Maybe you wanna' try a little peck and if she smiled go for a little longer on the lips, if you're confident enough move your tongue around a bit. Good luck

taht way its not going to far but now barley going at all, its in the middle, peck the lips.

I think a slow peck on the lips is the very best first kiss. Build up to the juicy ones... it will be better. :)

just start small, and let the rest happen naturally. make sure to have your head slightly to one side so you don't bump noses. also make sure you don't push too hard on his/her mouth--no one likes a hoover, or teeth accidentally hitting each other's. if you start to feel like it's getting too (for lack of a better word) spitty, just pull slightly away and kiss his/her neck or cheek while you recompose yourself. some people say that you can think of kissing with tounge like spelling your name in cursive, if that helps. keep your eyes closed except for times when you pull back a little to look at him/her.
mostly, HAVE FUN AND ENJOY YOURSELF!! a first kiss is special, and long remembered.

and then later on that day it led a "tad" further, peck on lips good=)
