That movie was hilarious. What are some of your favorite quotes from the movie. My favorite was looks like i picked the wrong week to quit sniffin glue and when that talk show host said "They bought the plane tickets. They knew what they were getting into. I say let em crash" Idk why but his face was hilarious. Sadly blockbuster only lets you rent the movies for 5 days so i had to return it today. But anyways what are your reviews on the movie?

I'm not much for comedies but I ADORE this movie and the sequel as well. I remember seeing it with my Dad when I was a kid; these days I understand a lot of the jokes that went right over my head back then.

It has tons of awesome quotes (especially the lady that speaks jive!) but my absolute favorite is from Robert Stack:

"Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked in the head by an iron boot? No of course you don't, that never happens. Skip it, Ted."

Wow... I in simple terms put in a equipment to my sister, who's remote places, a replica of "Mommie Dearest", because of the fact she can't locate it the place she's at and a few of her acquaintances opt to work out it. I also have a replica and that i watched it some circumstances... it particularly is spectacular, isn't it? did you realize the action picture relies on the e book Christina Crawford, Joan's daughter, wrote? particular, that's actual; and actual activities lived via her and her little brother below an identical roof with their mom, Joan Crawford. each thing replaced into taboo decrease back then, all hush-hush, otherwise Joan Crawford might of been in detention center for baby Abuse... that's in simple terms spectacular what an grownup might do to a baby. in simple terms... Speechless. yet spectacular is the superb overall performance via Faye Dunaway as Joan Crawford. She replaced into nominated for the Oscar as ideal Actress that 300 and sixty 5 days, yet she did no longer win. Too undesirable. She replaced into wonderful.

Oh, this one of my first comedies that I loved back in the day. It still cracks me up when I see it.

My favorite scene is the one with the automatica pilot and Elaine inflating him. Also, the scene when the stewardess is singing and keeps taking out the IV from the little girl... HA!HA!HA!

One of the quotes I like is:

Rex Kramer: [talking to Steve McCroskey] Our only hope is to build this man up. We gotta give him all the confidence we can.
[to Striker]
Rex Kramer: Striker, have you ever flown a multi-engine plane before?
Ted Striker: No, never.
Rex Kramer: ****. It's a God damn waste of time. There's no way he can land this plane.

It is an awesome movie. The first time I saw it was at a drive-in, when it was first released and I have seen it a hundred times or more since. I don't have a favorite quote, I love them all.

Yes, "Airplane!" is definitely one of the funniest movies of the last few decades. One of the best lines in the movie is when the doctor (Leslie Nielsen) asks what was served for dinner. Elaine tells him fish or steak. He responds, "Oh, now I remember. I had the lasagna".
