can an album have 100 songs? would any band be aloud to do that?

I have CD called "Short Songs for Short People." The CD (yes, it is a single disk) has 100 short (less than 1 minute each) punk rock songs, by 100 different artists, though.

Well the first person made a very good point. However even if they wanted to 1 album cannot hold 100 songs, most CD's are 74-80 min CD's it would be one large CD Case if they did that it would take probably 10+ cd's

It wouldn't be advisable because they would make way less money on that than they would if they split it up into different albums.
