Where do I report a scam like this?

That's an ingenious approach. Never heard of that one before, but I'd venture you just lost $200. Why are you asking this question NOW, instead of BEFORE you sent them $200 ?

It sounds like a legal scam to me. Yes there are such. If they do exactly as they state in the contract they may be perfictly legal. That does not mean they are ethical about it.

If you have a contract then read it very carefuly. Those if and ore and all that sure can make a difference. Most people do not read the contracts and understand them.

I would make the Better Business Assn. aware of this and what you think. Do it properly.

It just might be an out and out scam and that is not loegal in Canada.
