No, it will not hurt. There is no conclusive evidence that marijuana even crosses the placenta during pregnancy.

Don't do it, anymore, though, or else you'll risk having your baby taken away.

But, no, it didn't hurt you or your baby.

*EDIT*

By the way, your answerer below, Turab C, is NOT a doctor, otherwise, he would agree with all of us who actually DO know what we're talking about. Don't you just love the internet, where someone can be anyone they want to be? Do NOT let him freak you out. You and your baby are FINE.

I have known a couple of people that have smoked weed during their entire pregnancy and the baby has turned out fine, but they were a little on the small side.

I got high once I can remember before I found out I was pregnant with my first , I threw up alot and remember thinking that I had food poisoning from the burgers I ate when I had the munchies. I quit then and she turned out great. Stop smoking now and you both should be fine. Congrats. I am too.

no but stop now only way it will hurt the baby is if it was laced with anything if its clean its realy no worse than a cig. somethings that could happen is early chemical depression in the child if you keep smoking that high you get is a hormone increase so if the baby gets used to a high lvl of this than there will be that problem you get the idea

You and your baby are fine. I know more than one person who has smoked through the entire pregnancy, and the babies were completely, in every way, healthy and normal. And I am talking about quite a bit of use.

From what I understand, it is not believed that marijuana crosses the placenta. Alcohol or cocaine, or even nicotine do, however.

You should stop, though, so you don't risk CPS getting involved.

probally not but deffently mention it to ur dr. if you dont wanna come out and say it directly tell them you have been in close areas while people were smoking it, and have your doctor run tests to make sure your baby is healthy and see if its develping and problems and see if there is anything you can do to help reverse the negetive effect. you should also stay away from it now but also find out how far you r cuz the first 3-4 months are critical in your babys developement

A lot of women smoke to ease morning sickness. I'm not saying its a great idea, but if so many people use it, and you only did a couple of times, I'm sure everything is fine. :)

No...not necessarily...
But don't you want the kid to have the best chance possible to be born normally, and without any possible (slight as they may be) development difficulties.?
They've proven that babies born to non-drinking and non-partier parents, are across the board more healthy in every way...
Something to think about...

It really depends on how pregnant you are. Definitely don't use anymore! If you are in your first couple of months I wouldn't worry about it. Be honest with your doctor they have seen it all so you won't be out of the ordinary and it is better to be safe now that find out something horrible later.

I smoked pot throughout my pregnancy my doctor even told me that it was fine in small amounts to help with morning sickness and I was horribly sick with her. So I smoked like 1 joint a day and my daughter will be nine this year and she is happy , healthy smart top 3 in her class...So I don't think you have hurt your child.
