What you define as "excuses" are little more than "responses" to the mindless misguided moronic mantra of those who have forsaken historical facts for seeking to regain the power which, through gross mishandling, got us to the place we're in today.

The Great Society programs initiated by LBJ began a long journey down the yellow brick road to a society of entitlement expectation, unwavering reliance upon government, reduction of our defensive and offensive capablilities, heaping one expensive program on top of another and then leaving it all up to one President to clean up the mess they'd created over the last nearly 50 years of dominating the Congress.

They've done little to cooperate with little more than constant non-stop whining and whimpering, promising to solve everything in 100 days............have they?

No, in fact, the top two candidates have just voted NOT to support the troops.......that's right, both said NO to feeding, clothing, arming, equipping and providing for the needs of our military.

And they want YOU to vote for them?

what excuses? he has done some good things and some bad things. he's strong on defense and weak on immigration. he has spent way too much but has had a good rebound for the economy. he has faced a lot of adversity. I think that most people in his position under all the same circumstances would not have fared as well.

You do realize, of course, that your esteemed group of democratic hopefuls will not be running against Bush in 2008?
If you intend to boost support for your party, I would strongly suggest that instead of beating a dead horse, you try to find some dirt on the republican candidates that will be running.

Ya, life is so bad.

Personal income and wealth is up.

Stock market at all time highs.

Home ownership at all time highs.

Unemployment at all time lows.

I don't know about you... but, I lived good through the Regan years..... Bush years... suffered massive tax increases during Clinton... and now in Bush II my income is up and I feel as safe in America as ever!

I am not making excuses... I am rejoicing!

He is far better than any Democrat would. I never carried the water for him. He is no conservative and I cannot wait until we elect a real conservative to replace him.
