Cheers!! :)

Heart , yes. Genesis, not so much. I like some of Phil Collins stuff and Some of P. Gabriel, but Heart was a great girl or women band. Very original, good lyrics, great rock n roll. Their acoustic stuff is nice, now. Too bad, the dark haired woman caught such hell for gaining wait. When that happened, I heard the rest of the band, except her sister blamed her for the band loosing their appeal. She went on to be happy, adopted a child and does acoustic stuff now. Very talented women.

I watched the Honors last night too. I do not like the fact that Phil Collins was not even playing drums anymore. When he took over for Gabriel he at least did both. I still prefer him as a drummer. Not that crazy about Heart but i respect them and like the 70's stuff. I thought ZZTop and Ozzy were much more entertaining!!!!!

totally agree. also watched the rock honors. About time He art got recognized. Genesis, what can I say, They sounded a little off but what do you expect after 15 yrs. When the tour gets going, they'll be better than ever. But what blew me away was when they played No Son of Mine. One of my all time faves. Phil can still carry the high notes.

I agree with you, both did so much for music that most people don't recognize.
Heart opened up rocking to women and set the goal for other great acts in the future.
Genesis had so many hits and continued even after one singer left to have even more. They provided an alternative in rock to punk and hair metal.
I was happy to see both bands honored last night

Genesis was the first concert that I ever saw!! I love them.
Heart has a great sound. They laid the groundwork for all of the more recent female fronted rock bands.

Heart's ok. But I'm a huge Genesis fan, but I don't like anything after "Abacab." "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" is one of my favorite albums.
