One of my friends told me that Gerard Way has cancer that has to do with all of his smoking, is it true?

No. Your friend probably just thought that because their latest album was about a cancer patient. But no he is healthy and doing well. My friend just say him in concert on the 22nd.

He doesn't have cancer. If he did the band wouldn't be on tour right now.
