....when we didn't have cell phones, voicemail and email to keep in touch? and if you were going to the mall and couldn't get in touch with your friends bc they weren't home the whole day's plans were thrown out of whack? fun times!

I just hated the idea of having to use the payphone,and then the line would have a busy signal(no call-waiting).I had to call over and over again!Yeah,fun times! lol

I remember, especially the days in the Winter where I didn't have enough money to use a pay phone. I had to walk home from school and to school uphill both ways barefoot in the snow.

I do and I remember having to use pay phones at the mall before cell phones were so wide spread.

Yeah I remember. Back in the days when I didn't have a GPS glued to my ear, and I could actually get away without distractions or interference.

When I used to get handwritten invitations to parties, and people told jokes instead of forwarding them.

Yep, I remember. I'm 25. Can you imagine how super-connected our children or grandchildren will be? I already miss my alone time...damn cell phone.
