My friend and I are throwing a party for her boyfriend who is graduating from high school. Does anyone know any of any fun games or activites that we could plan? There will be families and other teens there. 50 people or so.

the games can't be too racy because there will be a lot of ages and parents there in a small enviornment... it's not an ideal grad party but it's the best we could do

Music is always a great thing, especially for dancing. But maybe someone in your group plays an instrument and you could encourage them to perform. Must have a comedian wannabee around or singer, etc. That is what people did before television and radio, way back when LOL

OK this may seem silly but how about having cupcakes and each person gets to decorate one. Then have the adults judge the contest of the most creative, ugliest, etc. and have a prize of a free box of donuts. You will need to have lots of little bowls (use disposible) food coloring, toppings like chocolate chips, sprinkles, various nuts, gummy bears, vanilla frosting (for the food coloring to be creative), chocolate frosting, and on and on. Done right it will take a person 15-30 minutes to be very creative. And, you don't have then to have a birthday cake, unless you want one. And the prize for this will be a very nice candle.

For the meal, if you are having one, have a buffet table of sandwich fixings so you work is easy. Breads and buns, sliced meats and cheeses, sliced tomatoes and onions, lettuce, condiments. And have a couple of salads. One of the things you could ask if specific people bring the items for the buffet. You have the buns, ask Jerry and Linda to bring the sliced ham, Mario and Tara to bring a sliced cheese. I think you get the idea.

Have each person (everyone, only the teens or just the adults if you want to limit the number) bring a picture of themselves as a child in an envelope with their name on the outside. Take the pictures into another room, mark a number on the envelope, and then on the back of the picture carefully. How put those pictures on a table or two, have each person go around writing down who each person is, e.g., 5 is Tommy, 7 is Lou, etc. This can be done at one time or through the evening. At the end, have each person go pick up their picture (to take home) and have the birthday boy name who got the most right. The prize will be a picture frame, perhaps one of those where you can download a picture.

For a silly game, get balloon. Pair people off. Each person has to blow up the balloon and the pop it between their back and their partners. Another form is blowing up the balloon and then sitting on it.

Birthday parties should be silly and creative.

if you ask me id go for asking her out, yes alcohol may have been involved but as a chick id say that no matter how much you drink if she didn't resist in the least bit when a moment like that starts, then she probably wanted it to happen. For all you know that was her intentions in the first place. I've done that before (and i guess it worked I'm married to him now lol). good luck!
