I was watching cnn, and I heard that some people in florida.. They wanted a Baby, but the ladie could not have one, so they took the mans sperm, and put it in another woman, (that part is not what I am talking about) now, the baby was just born a day or so ago, or is about to. The other ladie that is carrying the baby has now changed her mind on giving the baby to the real mother (the wife of the guys who's the real dad). She also is going to make the father pay child support.
Get it? Understnad? Did you hear this too?

I didn't hear this but not really that surprised. This happens a lot with surrogacy. Unfortunately, it is the risk the parents take when looking for a surrogate.

Yes, this is not the first time that has happened. I feel sorry for all the people involved. I've also heard of pregnant women wanting to place their children up for adoption, selecting a family, the family paying all medical expenses, and then the mother changing her mind after the child is born.

thats soo stupid! did she agree on it first? whats the point of keeping the baby, and then making that guy pay child support for someone she was supposed to give away???

yeah...that's why they have agencies and lawyers for surrogate pregnancies. although it is not right for the pregnant woman to do that, i can understand how it would be extremely hard to give up the child after carrying him/her for 9 months

Yeah, the legal system hasn't totally figured out surrogacy yet.

Extremely sad. I hope they are able to resolve it.
Sounds like they never had anything signed, and in FL it's like adoption and they can change their mind.

That seems to happen quite often...surrogate mothers will want to keep the child...and legally, will be able to...
