But I'd like to be able to work from home. I don't want to PAY to get more money (that seems like a stupid idea) so I'd love to hear some suggestions!

Consider your own business using your skills and passions to make money for yourself instead of someone else. There are a number of books in your library and a number of websites that can help you get started but you need the courage and that's not something you can read about. You have believe in yourself in your heart. You have to believe that your products or services can help others. A business license costs around $75-100 and it's totally tax deductible. What do you have to lose??? Forget those work at home scams. They prey on the desperate. I know that you're not desperate!!! Don't wait for your ship to come in ... swim out to meet it!!! Get to the library or click into one of the sites below:

Good luck finding money without investment. You decide - you either pay your time or pay your money.

However, you can limit how much you invest. Jobs, yes, you shouldn't pay to start a job. But there aren't many legit jobs that you can do at home, that won't cost you something. Daycare will cost you your peace of mind, not to mention food, cleaning, toys, equipment, etc. You can start a housecleaning or errand running business, but that will cost you gas and wear and tear on your car. You can try to get transcription jobs from your local community college, unemployment centre, real estate office or lawyer's office, but that will cost you paper and ink.

If you're looking for a job online -- well there's ebaying, but that costs ebay fees and paypal fees and postage. Not to mention buying what you're going to sell in the first place. There's surveys that claim to pay you - some do btw - but those require lots and lots of time in front of the computer. There's tons of scams - data entry pyramid schemes, and affiliate mlms and the like.

Then there's the party plan businesses - require inventory, and knowing people. There's mlms - again require inventory and knowing lots of people. There's online stores - inventory again. Lol. There's direct selling, distributing, etc etc.

Investigate. There's not much you can do that won't require some kind of investment. My checklist for any at-home job or biz is: credentials? references? growth record? credit rating? reorder rate/repeat customers? income stats? Training? support team? Refunds? Risk? Also, be able to talk to the rep in person or on the phone.

You always have to "pay" to get more money, it's a question of HOW you pay.

You invest in yourself and get more skills and training.

You invest in equipment to work more efficiently.

You invest time and effort.

If I told you that you could make $100,000 per year just getting forgotten change from vending machines, (assuming it were true), you would still have to "pay" by spending time checking them, and driving around to as many as possible.

Stop looking for free money. It was all taken years before either of us were born.

Who doesn't, (except politicians, oil barons, CEOs, and people like the clintons and algorey)! Maybe you just need to SPEND LESS!
