Was any body as disappointed as I was with the ending?

I think it's the last movie but, again, the ending was disappointing. You really couldn't tell if it was over or not.

It was good, but I liked the first part better. It was more exciting and romantic than the second part. The special effects were better in the second part though.

I also saw it today =)
and I have to say this movie blew me away!
It was dramatic in all the right spots. It was hilarious with the multiple Johnny's and the funny little rivarly between Capt. Barbosa and Capt. Jack Sparrow!!!!! Geoffery Rush (Barbosa) did an amazing job of acting!! I dunno but besides Johnny Depp, he really stood out to me! :)
Also, the soundtrack to this music is another winner by Hanz Zimmer. It sucks you into the movie and really helps with all the battle scenes (which were so cool btw.)
The costumes, the ships, and the graphics (especially at sea) was a wonderful thing to see!
The plot was so fascinating that I didn't even realize this movie was almost three hours long!
I would definitely go see this one again.
BEST ONE YET!!!!!!!!
P.S. Will getting stabbed was a surpriser!! Didn't really see that one coming! But I'm glad he still gets to see Elisabeth at the end... (Wait, you saw the blurb after all the credits rolled at the end right?
P.P.S. Johnny said maybe there'll be a fourth!

I Loved it! With all the Critics comments not loving it like the fans, I think they will find out that the Fans are the experts when it come to picking a good movie. The cast is just awesome, and I am already waiting for number four how about you? Be sure to stay and watch the sceen after the credits!

I loved the humar, but what the hell was up with the goddess thing she grew pathetically big turned into crabs created the whirpool then left? That was total cheese. However I think this was Depp's best out of all of them,and his dad was perfect. But before Knightly was all rescue me rescue me and now she is macho pirate queen, and I thought this was supposed to be a disney movie what the heck was up with the kiss on the knee thing at the end!? They tried to explain to much in to short of time, it became chaotic, otherwise I loved it.

I think some folks have way too much time on their hands to go see a movie when it comes out on day one and go blabbing to everyone all about it, and not giving the rest of us a chance to go see it before learning what you happen to know...
Can't anyone keep it a secret till the majority sees the movie???

I think they left it open on the end because the writers said that they might make a sequle if the cast wanted too.

I liked it but I would have went with a different ending. Jack instead of Will.

I loved the first one the second one was a little wishy washy for me and AWE was a complete waste of time and money for me. They could have done all that they needed to get there point accross in a half hour or so - but it just dragged on and on and on and on... you get the point.

OMG OMG OMG I LOOOOVED IT it was absolutely amazing...the ending was left open for a sequel depending on how well AWE does...
