I keep getting violation notices for the most harmless aswers. I understand we all do not agree on these pages but is reporting me and silencing me your only way to win an argument? I keep apealing and having my status restored.

Welcome to board troll hell. You have a different opinion than the poster and voice your fact based opinion... they hit the violations button just to censor you.
I answer questions all day long with fact based opinions. I never bash. I never call names. I am all about free spirited debate. I get violated a couple times a week.
What is incredible, I have only pushed the violations button a couple times... Once when the poster was advocating sexual violence against women... and the other when it was just a troll spewing blatant racism. Both of those posts remained.
I never report anyone for giving their opinion... no matter how much is differs from mine or how lunatic it seems. I have also even many times given best answer to those I disagree with, as long as their post is fact based opinion and well written with out hate speech.
I wish I could make since of this whole violations thing.

Actually for a while there, I was getting several a day. Usually for just calling it stupid, inane questions. Once I started answering them first (usually with YES or NO) and then calling them out......the violations stopped for a few weeks.
Until day. More violations. I just don't get that some questions are so inflammatory, but if you answer in a manner that calls it out, you are busted.

I get them daily. In fact, I had three of my questions deleted today. Yesterday I received a stack of violations for questions that I had responded to.

Yep--just today I had an answer deleted and it was almost identical to the 'best answer'........sounds like you have a stalker trying to get you suspended.
So much for free speech.

There are lots of liberals out there who quash free speech when it does not agree with their speech. They label the views of others as "hate" or "violations" and silence it. Welcome to censorship 101. Good luck!
