Yes, as long as it has a major logo (Visa, MasterCard, etc). For the people who are more reserved about using a card online, I suggest buying a gift card with a major logo and using it for online purchases. You can buy them at most banks and malls for a couple of bucks and have confidence that someone cannot use the card numbers to hack into your personal bank account.

you shouldn't pay for any thing on the Internet with a debit card it could give some one your account number
