There is a band from New Zealand called Pitch Black [nz] that does an awesome song called "Big Trouble Upstairs". Actually all their songs are awesome. The album with "Big Trouble..." is on Waveform Records. They have some import releases on other labels as well.

Some other Waveform artists that are really good are Sounds From the Ground and PhuturePrimitive.

Kevin Dooley aka Zero One is a total trip also. All his albums are great but "Prototype 2" is the best. His are on Waveform and Spiralight Recordings. The owner of Spiralight does his own music as well under the name Magic Sound Fabric; definitely worth checking out.

Also, you might like William Orbit. He worked with Madonna on her Ray of Light album, but his solo stuff is WAY better. My favorites albums of his are "Strange Cargo 3" and "Hello Waveform". He also did two AWESOME side projects with Beth Orton and Laurie Meyer. Those two albums are very hard to find, but if you can get a hold of them, do it! One album is called "Hinterland" and was released under the artist name Strange Cargo (like his own album). The other album was called "Into the Unknown Region" and released under the artist name Torch Song.

Lastly, Underworld's "Dirty Epic" remixes are sweet, and you can never go wrong with music by Paul van Dyk or Crystal Method...especially their albums "Vegas" and "Tweekend".

Enjoy!

in case you have on no account heard of Aphex twin, this is a huge place to start--he's a residing legend. The "Richard D James Album" is definitely one in all the main amazingly produced digital albums of all time--he makes each and all of the songs himself and that they are great!
