What's up people?

I just got a MSI motherboard and installed it. Now I'm trying to install windows. Here's the problem, when I change the first boot device to cd-rom, and then after reboot, the keyboard doesn't work after the POST test. If I click something it won't work. If i I load default settings the keyboard will work after the post test, but can't do anything becoz windows is not installed. So I need to change the first boot device to CD-ROM to install Windows. What is the problem? Why won't the keyboard work? What must I do? Please help.

You dont have to set the 1st boot device as CDrom. If you set the bios settings (default settings or the like) it will try to boot from the floppy, cd then hdd. If you can you can set the cd above the hdd it does not matter which they are as long as the cd is before the hdd. Then hit any key to boot from CD will appear on the boot....Thanks

Use a USB keyboard first to see if it work. If yes, replace the motherboard. Make sure you turn on USB enabled from BIOS
