A-Rod/Jeter now and Wright/Reyes are the future, let's say 3 or 4 years.

Anybody with half a brain can answer this question it is clearly David Wright and Jose Reyes. Reyes has a gun for an arm at short and gets to balls that Jeter can't even dream about getting. Wright well let's just say he's going to have a great career that 3b. A-Rod is not a third basemen, so how can anyone say he's even good at the hot corner? How many errors did he have last year? 24 errors that's just pathetic he may only have 4 errors this year but those will go up he's not comfortable at third base and you can tell that he isn't. Jeter this year has already made 8 errors. By the way Jeter's average for errors in a season is 17. That's just sad.

Where as Reyes has only made 2 errors this year and Wright has 6 errors. So the Yankees lead in errors thanks to Jeter in total 12 combined to only 8 for the Mets. But if you're going to have to go with players on the east coast it would be Melvin Mora and Miguel Tejada with the best defense. 5 Errors so far this year for Tejada and Only 3 by Mora. In total 7 errors one less then the Mets tandem.

Right now I would go with A-Rod and Jeter because their bats are better right now. Reyes is doing fine but Wright is slupping big time. As for the defensive side both sets are about even maybe giving a little edge to Wright and Reyes.

I would rather have wright and reyes, not because their better but because jeter and a rod have a big problem working together right now

wow...good question. i say arod and jeter. the only reason i would not take them is because of age. wright and reyes have a lot of years ahead of them, but its to hard to overlook one of the best postseason players of all time, and a guy like arod who by the end of his career will be mentioned as one of the greatest of all time.
