so i feel sooo pretty when i have colored contacts on! but when i dont have them in i dont feel as pretty,.....any other girls who use colored contacts feel the same way?

If you feel better with them in then where them when you are wanting to feel especially pretty. Most people have the same issue maybe just a different object. EX.-makeup, certain clothes, shoes, hair styles... Just do what makes you feel good about yourself.

I feel the same way sometimes and its only because when I wear them I think I look prettier and I just feel more confident. I also realized that is a problem for me because I should feel confident regardless so I two pairs of really nice glasses (one is black framed and the other is red). I've tried to wear clear contacts also just so I don't rely heavily on my colored contacts.
I also bought close that make me feel and look prettier, its all a self-confidence issue. Try some of these, they might help.

I'm not a girl, but I can tell you that being sexy is a frame of mind. If wearing one color rather than another makes you feel that way, it's not dumb or silly. If wearing colored contact lenses is what does it for you, go for it. There's nothing wrong with that. Some people never feel that way.

So you are a white latina and your turkish boyfriend doesn't like your pale akin. That is no problem. That is no love for you. His love is only "skin deep". However, you need a big confidence. White is beautiful so are latinas. Don't give your boyfriend the pleasure of running you down because he is the one with a problem. You can tan yourself but he can't undo his. Don't beg for his love he is not worth begging for. Try and be happy with the way you are. Being a model doesn't last for a long time either. Pale skin is lovely and people put others off because of their skin colour because they are insecure. Don't worry about yourself. Pale, dark, yellow, any skin colour can be equally beautiful or horrible to others depending on your taste or upbringing. I don't know what else to tell you but, forget your boyfriend's opinion. Keep yourself lovely and enjoy your life for what you are not the colour of your skin. Hope this helps Connie.

I used to wear colored contacts for a little bit and I felt more appealling. After a while, though, it started getting to me because I felt fake... and not being beautiful for who I really was. So I stopped wearing them and haven't regretted it.

i feel the same way . . . i'm African-American but i have relatively light-colored skin and golden blondish-brownish hair but my eyes are as dark as night . . . when i wear hazel colored contacts, i feel like i look better because i have lighter skin, lighter hair, and then my eyes are also lighter to match
if you like your colored contacts and they make you feel better about yourself, wear them! but don't for one second think that colored contacts make you a prettier person, you just feel better about how you look . . .
it's kind of like makeup when it's used in the right way . . . it's not like you give yourself plastic surgery and actually change your features when you wear makeup . . . you just cover up flaws and emphasize your best features . . . just think of wearing colored contacts as an accent intended to emphasize your already-beautiful eyes

I feel less pretty, and that I stand out less when I wear glasses instead of contacts.
Perhaps you feel that wearing contacts, especially coloured ones, make your eye stand out, and thus, more attractive.
Try using more eye makeup, or different style of eye makeup when you DON'T wear coloured contacts. You will still look good. There are no bad eye colours out there.

its not dumb i mean i like colored contacts they just look better but i guess natural colored eyes are pretty to depending on the color.

im sure your eyes are nice the way they are. personally, i think people with colored contacts look a little fake, but yeah.don't worry bout it.

It just means that you place too much importance on the contacts.
Try focussing your attention on being happy with what God gave you.
The contacts are just to add to you its not supposed to change the person you are and how you feel about yourself.
