There is no such thing as the biggest number because numbers can grow infinitely. Infinity is not a number, it is a concept, so to say infinity is the biggest number is incorrect.

A trillion is the highest number I've heard of. Infinity is simply not a number reference.

infinity isn't a real number so it can't be classified as the biggest number in the universe. don't you just wonder, why can't there be infinity plus one?? the answer, unfortunetely, cannot be determined because as the term infinity implies, numbers can just keep going on and on and on and are truly infinite.

There is no largest number. If there was, than given the largest number x, then
x + 1 !> x
(this means x + 1 is not bigger than x)
If that is the case then
1 !> 0 (1 is not greater than 0) which we know to be untrue. So there is no largest number x to satisfy this condition.

I suppose you could say a googolplex.
But that's just a word for a number, there is no biggest "number" because u can always add one.

The 'largest number' is 8... stretch it out a bit and lay it on it's side and that is the 'infinity sign' ... because we can 'count forever' and never reach infinity, but that 'sign' is the one for it.

INFINITY - or no end
Just as the fellah above me said you can always add one and our number system and the studies of mathematics, economics, physics, etc. have all accepted this in their calculations and theories and often use infinity so I quess that would be the highest.

Abstract concept or not I'd say "infinity" is the largest number.
