We need to solidify our political structure,we had the best system in the world; with the executive, the judiciary and the legislative all seperate entities and yet providing a system of checks and balance.
Some how, some where, political lobbying and cronyism has crept in and bastardised the beautiful thing our fore fathers created, we need to take it back.
But it's not going to be easy, i'm willing if you are, let's just not vate in 2008, nobody votes -0 turnout........

America is in deep trouble. So much so that I fear she may never recover completely. The lunatics in Washington are only a part of the problem. A very important part, I might add, but not the whole picture. We will become a third world country if somebody dose not have the spine to tell it like it is. There has to be a moratorium on immigration for the next 5 years, At least until we can absorb the immigrants that are here. It is sheer insanity to think that we can continue to have thousands coming into the country, going on welfare, overloading our schools and medical facilities and not go bankrupt. Common sense should tell Congress how dangerous our present policy of talk talk and do nothing is for our country.

Don't vote for anyone who would give illegals amnesty.
Don't vote for anyone who refuses to take our troops out of this civil war.
Vote for someone who will uphold the constitution.
Stop having loyalty to any political party but for a candidate that will work for legal Americans.
Be a leader not a follower.
If you don't vote you are part of the problem.
Remember, don't just vote against something. Vote for something.

For one thing, when voting, do not vote for anyone who
has been in office longer than 4-8 years. Some of these
Representatives & Congressmen have been on office so
long that they are totally out of touch.

Once again, I have to agree with Debra. This whole
excutive privledge thing is out of control. If anyone should
excutive privledge, it should be us, the people who
voted them into office.

My other suggestion is to post this question as often as
you can. It's excellent. Alot of us agree with you & hope
that maybe, it's just a matter of enough people seeing this.

The next election will be won by Democrats, no matter what idiot they put up there. But at least it will send a message to the rest of the world that we at least want to do something to make amends for the last 8 years...

As we know it maybe. I have faith that the voting American public will remember who really cares about this great country and who are in it to make it a socialistic state . Do not forget who votes for amnesty and against funding our troops.

The American people need to remember that the politicians were elected to serve us,
not the other way around. Americans need
to SPEAK UP!,SPEAK LOUDLY!,and
MAKE THEIR VOICES HEARD!

We need to stand our ground and demand change-today not tomorrow--I think the politicians are suppose to work for us-we pay their salaries, they decide pay raises for themselves without asking--try that one at your place of employment and see how far you get.

i don't know.... it seems like we are starting to stir.. that real people, ordinary people are beginning to feel a little restless and very unhappy with what is going on in Washington... it will come...it has before, it will again.

it is time our politicians remembered they are working for us.. for us... not for themselves. Right now they are acting like Kings and Queens.. and it has to stop!
