You are suffering from a misconception that is common among many kids (although most figure it out before graduating high school, if not long before that). We do indeed live literally on Earth, and Earth is a round planet that is in space, orbiting the Sun just like the other planets in our Solar System. We are *in* the solar system, it is not only above us.
Imagine you were to ride in a rocket ship and go up. As you go up, you will see the planet Earth getting smaller and smaller as you get farther and farther away from it. It will look a lot like the model Earth globe you probably have in school, except without the lines and the names of the counties! Earth will look almost like it is just floating in space, but it is really rushing around the Sun at a speed of over 66,000 miles per hour! Even at that speed it takes a full year to go once around the Sun. As you keep going farther and farther from Earth, you will see the other planets in our Solar System also orbiting the Sun, some are closer to the Sun and some are farther away than we are.

Wrong.
We live on Earth, and the Earth is below us, no matter what part of the globe you live on. In all cases, when you stand up,
your feet point toward the center of gravity which is "down" to you, or "below" you.
In the Solar System we (on Earth) are the third planet from the Sun. Our Solar System is part of the Milky Way Galaxy and our Sun is just one of the 200 Billion Stars within that Galaxy.

No, we literally live ON Earth. At least I do, not so sure about you. Where (on Earth) did you get the bizarre notion that Earth is "above us in the solar system"? Are you home schooled?
