2 things.
1. Make sure Fn F7 is the right combination. For me it's Fn F6. It should be a picture of a screen with a little starburst in the middle (or it is for me).
2. The backlight in your computer may have gone. If under warranty contact the supplier, otherwise look at repair.

Well what did you do before the screen went dark? It could be that the contrast or brightness might be set too low, either that or you graphic card is going funky which you would have to either let a tech look at it or open it your self and giggle it till it works. Until you tell what you did before the problem happend I cant say much.

I assume you're talking about the MONITOR. All monitors have buttons, maybe you accidently hit one of them. Find the buttons on your monitor, and try setting them., you should see an Image. If not, your eyes are worth more than the lousy monitor, which may be emitting "microwaves" into your eyes.

If it is a desktop, you probably need to replace the monitor.
If it is a laptop, your LCD screen has died (they do that). You should be able to attach and use a regular monitor until you can get the display replaced or repaired.

Restart the computer and see if it does it again. you may need to adjust the brightness of your monitor through it's own controls, not through the computer.

That's ok, it just because you have too much semen in your eyes. Wipe your eyes, and then you'll see the screen just fine.
