on 24 may I painted my car, after it was welll prepped. The paint turned out really well. Im doing a 2 stage paint job. I did not get the clear coat put on yesterday and will not be able to do so untill June 2nd, it is remaining taped and untouched, my question, will applying clearcoat to a completely CURED but clean surface be a problem, also I when I painted the base I did get one ugly run so, my next question how do I take care of that wet, sand till the run is not visible then apply clearcoat, please help me with this. Thanks

Wet sand the run with 600 grit. till its gone if your up on your wet sanding you should be able to blend it in. As long as your surfaces are clean clear coating won't be and issue. You want mile deep paint throw another coat of paint on and wet sand, Then clear coat, Wet sand again then throw on a final clear coat.

Some products can wait up to two weeks before clearing. You should be able to sand and recoat your base coat.
