cross multiply:
25(36) = (20)(10a)
900 = 200a
900/200 = a
9/2 = a
4.5 = a

25 x 36 = 20 x 10a
200a = 900
a = 9/4

25 * 36 = 20 * 10 * A
25* 36 / (20 * 10 ) = A
you can play with the pencil and paper simplification... or just punch that into your calculator...
A = 4.5
