I was wondering hoe much umpires get paid in the MLB. I ump major basball in Ottawa, Canada. I get paid $30 for just two hours. Do u get paid more??

I got $15 a game to umpire Senior Babe Ruth in Bristol Rhode Island in the nineties

They are paid well. Full time job with benefits and pension. Plus days off during the season now.
Check mlb.com to see.
The umpire deserves the good pay so they are not corrupted by the gambling crews.

umpires do not get paid much. its a lousy job anyway. fans boo your calls, players argue, coaches argue, and they get paid little.

They get paid in items. I heard of one umpire getting paid with pigs toe. Another with mouse dropppings. I think it just depends on how you call your game.
