I think he should get some money back, because if I were him I would have done the same thing. You can't take your money with you when you die so you might as well go out with a bang right?!

I have read the article and I feel bad for the guy, the hospital should give him something you know?

This is a stuff question. I think that in a way he was right to sue the hospital but wrong to spend all of his money. He could have spent some of the money, but all of it wasn't nesscary. What about his family?

I think it is defintely the hospital's fault. What kind of moron diagnoses a healthy person with a tumor?

it's more than likely that the man wouldn't have spent his life savings if he had been given the right diagnosis in the first place.Granted it was the guys choice to spend all his life savings, but the hospital should be sued and be hold accountable for his mental anguish that he unnecessarily went through went through.

Yeah, I heard that. It was his fault for spending all his money but it seems that the doctor(s) should take some responsibility for the incorrect diagnosis.

It is all his fault...something that important, he should have gotten a second or even a third opinion. His fault that he believed one person's diagnosis. The doctor gave his opinion of the diagnosis...the man is a fool!

I think it both their fault. Wasn't there a similar movie like that? It was Last Holiday, except that was about a woman.

Yes I've read the story. Entirely his fault, but that kind of suit is something I'd more expect to see from the US than the UK. I guess every country has its share of vexatious litigants.
