Ohm's Law, discovered by Georg Simon Ohm
Ohm's Law deals with the relationship between voltage and current in an ideal conductor. This relationship states that:
The potential difference (voltage) across an ideal conductor is proportional to the current through it.

André-Marie Ampère -- He introduced the term "electric current", and defined its direction as that of the motion of positive charges. He conducted many experiments on the interaction between electric currents and magnets, leading to several significant discoveries: a) The forces produced by two nearby currents of equal magnitude and in opposite direction, on another current cancels. b) A current flowing along a curved path can be considered as a superposition of many small current segments, and its effect is just the vector sum of the effects of those small segements. c) When the length of a segment of current is increased, its effect on a observation point will remain the same if the distance between the point and the wire is increased by the same factor.

Voltage named after Alessandro Giuseppe Antonio Anastasio Volta. developed the so-called voltaic pile, a forerunner of the electric battery, which produced a steady stream of electricity.

German scientist by the name of Georg Simon Ohm,
Ohms Law Calculator
discovered that when a conductor has a resistance of 1 ohm than an emf of 1 volt will cause a current of 1 amp to flow through a conductor.
Ohms Law. I = E/R or R = E/I or E = IR.

...........and the contributors................
Electrostatic voltages were known and written about before 1600. Otto von Guericke (1602-1686) was the first to make an electrostatic generator.
