When one of my really good guy friends found out I liked him, he started to ignore me and badmouth me to everyone. This memory is deeply etched in me. I am scared to think of other guys because I don't want to get hurt inside again.

Don't give up on finding domeone you love. That's just ONE person, after all. There are millions of other people out there who may like you. But you may have to get to know them really well before dating and stuff, or that MIGHT happen if you don't know them well enough. So don't give up!

Ok yeah, there's the answer....give up. Is that your answer for every tough situation that happens in your life?

Big deal, so some moron who doesn't know what he missed was a jerk...good thing he didn't like you back because he would have been a huge mistake anyway if he is that type of person...he did you a HUGE favor.

Life hurts...things don't always go your way...it doesn't mean for one second you should just give up...there are a lot of great people out there - don't let one dingbat who was only in your life for a very short moment in time take your thunder.

He couldn't have been much of a friend, to hurt you so bad. Those scars will heal in time. You could have a whole barrel of apples, but it only takes one bad one to ruin all of them. Look and think positive. You've had a bad experience, you feel betrayed and let down. Now, the only way you can go is UP. Smile and forget, whoever that masked man was! lol.

Obviously that guy was a jerk who didnt know how to handle a your feelings nor his. His lack of maturity showed and he acted like a little boy who had a crush on a girl but shows it by always picking on her. So childish and many guys are but c'mon he's a scarry dude. All guys are not like him. Sometimes it takes some bad apples on top to get down the barrow to the really good ones.

I think you already know the answer to this without anyone else giving you his or her opinion. If one man is a rapist, does that mean all men are rapists? If one mother is cruel to her kids, does that mean that all moms are wicked? Honey, I understand you've been hurt and disappointed but please believe me you're going to experience pain and grief again in life because that's just reality. There are good times and there are bad times, and everything in-between. Acceptance is the answer but don't stop there. "Get up, dust yourself off and get back on that horse!"

No!All Guys aren't the same.this guy is a dick, for doing that to you.everybody is going to get hurt, once in thier life. and i know its a bad feeling but, moving on and seeing the person you are and knowing that you can have better is the best way to go.one guy who may be meaningless now, shouldn't change your life.you should become stronger from this and know what guys to look for now,and who is a true friend or not.A guy took my virginity (which is worse) and never talked to me again.and you know what i did?i moved on and became a better person and found someone who proved to me they cared about me,but we moved slow and had very great outcomes from it.im just saying never let someone change you for the worst, always turn your self around for the best.

People are different and you cannot assume everyone will be like him. If he was immature and acted that way, of course you felt hurt! But you shouldn't let this hold you back forever.

Give yourself time to overcome it and don't let this be such a burden that it cripples you.

Just learn from this experience and be wiser next time.
Good luck..

you should not hold his actions against anyone else. not
everyone is the same. within time you will find someone
that will treat you the way you should be treated. and as
for the memory you have of that unfortunate incident you
alone can only help yourself mend a broken heart and
disturbed memory.... i wish you the best of luck and a
future of happiness with that someone special..........

To me that guy just sounds like a jack *** that wants Attention. and hes geting it.

And why give up thinking about other guys that you might like... if they do that its quite sad and childish on there part.

IMO i would go to him and tell him to grow the F U * K up.

but dont just give up there will always be one nice guy that will find you or you might find them. keep on looking just let the "" Child "" figure out what hes missing b/c hes dumb
