It definitely makes me very frustraded. Grammar is directly linked to communication. The importance of grammar is that it helps convey ideas efficiently. After all, we are always in a hurry and it is very important to get things clear as fast as possible. Lacking of grammar rules represents a hindrance not only at understanding level but also at communication... and that is pretty serious. I know there are tricky parts of languages where the temptation to teach a little grammar arises. This is wrong. Good quality things come from that extra effort and, beleive me, people see that. If some people think grammar is boring, we have to change our strategy of learning it or teaching its rules. Use word games, combinations of subjects, verbs, direct objects and where relevant indirect objects for all the irregular verbs you imagine he would want to know. Imagine the interpretation of The Rosetta Stone or the Bible or so many texts that have changed the world without grammar. For sure, we would not be enjoying the civilization we have today!

Usually I just smile. I find it nice that people at least take the time to give you some sort of answer. Some of the answers really are informative. It's just a place to have fun and connect, no reason to get angry or frustrated :)

Its just a human thing, some folks cant spell. As long as I can figure it out, I'll go with it, I can forgive them. And Yes, I agree with the guy below. These Texting shortcuts are pretty irritating. At least TRY to spell the words, people!

Most people have very poor grammer which makes it hard to understand what they are trying to say. I am starting to get used to it, sort of like cracking a secret code.

Yes, I have to read some responses twice. Sometimes it's funny, other times I'm just thinking,"Why can't people spell and type like they have an education". Then I feel guilty because maybe they don't have one. I can't stand "StIcKy CaPs".

yeah, it's frustrating trying to read a question that doesn't even make sense. or doesn't seem to ask anything in particular. or doesn't even come in a complete sentence. little spelling and grammar mistakes are fine but doesn't yahoo provide you with a nice spellcheck? why don't they use it?
