Is bowl buddies tablets good to use for 2 gallons or less?

I got a package of them meant for a one or 2 gallon tank so that's what I use with my betta that's in a 2 gallon tank , you could probably use the bigger ones to but you wouldn't need a whole one for a small tank.When I do a partial water change on my 5 gallon tank I just break one in two pieces and use half.The kind I use is called water safe plus,I don't know if that's what you have or not.

Edit:That's the same thing I use for my 2 gallon tank and I find they work well.

I frankly wouldn't recommend them in general and would rather see you use a better choice in water conditioners but as to for the safety of using one for only 2 gallons, yes you can do that without a problem.
