I bought a big potted NGI and forgot to put it in the shade. It sat on my driveway for a day in 90 degree sunshine. Is there a good way to perk it back up again? It's inside in a cool dark hallway today. I have some Jerry Baker Books, if you can name any of his potions that would help. I hadn't decided whether to keep it in the pot or plant it in my shade bed.

It's still green, just very wilted.

It should recover, as long as it's kept in the shade and kept well-hydrated.
You'll probably have to pick off a bit of the fried foliage is all. But go ahead and place it outside, in the shade of course :) (bring it in at night 'til your last frost date has passed). The fresh air and some rain will do it good.
I would personally refrain from fertilizing it until you see some new growth coming up from the bottom. Good luck!

cut it down by half, feed it once, put it bright shade, and water it "everyday"............it will recover, but it might take a few days or so! one day in the sun won't kill it so it'll be fine!
