First of all, DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING! Is it the other insurance company blaming you? Also, there should be a police report. This is your key piece of evidence. Obtain a copy from your local police department. If you were making a legal left hand turn, the driver who hit you is at fault. You can bring civil charges against the driver and his or her insurance. Make sure you have the names of the witnesses as they will be key to your case. Good luck!

if its a civil or criminal case you should get your witnesses into court. If you were turning on a green arrow the driver going straight MUST have run an amber or red light. The police report from on scene should have included that information.
You need to consult a lawyer.

The police officer ticketed you based on his evidence at the scene. I can't give you anymore details than that because I was not there. His ticket is not a conviction. Plead not guilty, get a court date and bring your witnesses. The cop won't have to testify for my much because he did not witness the event. If you have your witnesses and are prepared with photo' s of the intersection, it will be you against the other guy.
good luck!
It's tough for us to know what really happened when there is two opposing stories so I usually write both a ticket for what the other alleges and let them battle it out in court.

First off who is blaming you? By blaming do you mean suing you personally? Are you being blamed in court or just generally in public. Either way the best thing you can do is get a sworn affidavit from the 2 witnesses regarding what they saw as well as any police report that was filed. This should allow you to dispute any claims in public, court or arbitration.

Did your insurance go up . Whose paying for the damage? Were both cars damaged? If you have witness' have them sign a release through your insurance company and have it notarized. If not, have the witness' fill out there own report and have it notorized and give to police station and to insurance company. Say they were "late Witness'"

Who is blaming you?
Talk to your insurance company. They should be able to help and have their own lawyers who can assist. Get copies of the police report and signed statements from the witnesses.

strive against it! Get the Witnesses to go back ahead, and get a replica of the Police document! go analyze the Investigating Officer's,and enquire why both Witnesses...were no longer considered? You were making a Left change on a eco-friendly Arrow,so that you probably did certainly have the right of way!

It was your fault. You can not turn left on green, unless there is no vehicle going straight. You should have allowed the car to go straight and ensured there is no vehicle in your way to left. Otherwise, you should have waited for the yellow to take left turn.
