That is something I will never understand. Like this story of the boy killing this huge wildhog http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070525/ap_on_fe_st/monster_pig All I could think was the poor animal has been living for so long and was part of nature, now killed and left many of its members behind. What good did that do ? The boy was so proud of his kill and for what? Human, I guess, is probably the meanest creature that God has ever created. Killing for fun and recreation ?

Well .. if, as you asked it, it's for FUN, then I guess the answer would have to be FUN.

Was there something I missed in this question, or am I answering an idiot's post here?

It really depends on if the boy was in danger or used it for food? Senseless killing is just that, senseless. However, even as an animal lover I eat meat and wear leather shoes. There is an extreme to anything out there. Vegetarians and hunting for fun included!

In case YOU didn't know, wild hogs are DANGEROUS. That 'poor animal' would as soon rip you apart as look at you. Besides, it takes skill and cahones to do something like that. Impressive for a small boy.

Stupid Liberal bleeding hearts. I suppose you think the kid should have been killed. Or his little sister.

Well I consider it practice for when I start hunting humans. Humans can at times be trickier than animals thus the need to practice on animals.

Because men have been hunter/gatherers since they crawled out of the ocean as amoebas. It's instinct. This boy was having fun and recreation, but he is also going to have a lot of meat to pass out to his community and to eat himself.

I don't know, it makes me sick........things will be different one day. The Bible promises a time when humans and animals will live together in peace.
