It used to get me agitated, but I've conceded. I've hit bottom. They win. I don't care anymore. What freedom!

Spell check is not an answer. Sometimes it misunderstands your intention and replaces words with things you never intended.

Unfortunately, learning to spell is a lost art. And spell checkers just make it even less practiced (just like calculators make it easy to forget basic math).

And a spell checker isn't going to make any more sense out of the jibberish that some people write.

Personally, I almost never use spell check. I'd rather take the time to spell it correctly to begin with.

I am totally flummoxed as to why the askers do not use SPELL CHECK. It is a GIFT. It would make people seem, at least, partially literate. Ah well. Rock on!

We cannot all be so righteous about it. I was a teenager long ago and may have fallen in to this pit of speed and vulgarity.

I can't even understand what most people are saying these days, much less trying to read what they write! I don't know if they are serious or seriously in need of a lobotomy! (or if they have already had one and this is an improvement!)

Mostly people are just lazy or just plain dumb.

It's not the spell check the creates a bad question though... its just the plain dumb people who cannot get their question clear.

Some people don't like to waste time, some are in a hurry.

Others don't care or don't know the difference

Hmm, been wondering the same thing myself. Also, some of these questions can be answered for themselves, by just putting the question in their browser. Do you suppose they are too lazy to do that?

well I believe its a matter of laziness. In people and in our culture. There is not enough people to say "hey, wtf, are you stupid or do you just not know the language very well?" Maybe if people like us agree to have as many kids as possible and we raise/teach them right, we can fight these illiterates and make this world and this country easier to admire

i really don't see why people type like that, though. it's supposedly faster but i've tried it and it's not >_<
