I don' hate Mexicans or more broadly speaking Hispanics.I just don't like their culture.I hate it how a lot of Hispanic men sit outside with their shirts off.I hate it how they pronunce Hispanic names different from non-Hispanic names.I also don't like it when they take up the entire park playing soccer.I also hate it how some of them get their last names put on their back car windows.

Except for the shirtless thing, which has become a stupid prejudice against guys of *all* colors (see Sources below), the reason you hate aspects of their culture has GOT to be that you hate them, even if you don't know it. Otherwise you'd either be indifferent, or you'd be laughing. Like I used to laugh equally at fuzzy dice hung from the rear-view mirror and hula girls swiveling their hips in the back window, which were WASP, and multiple rosaries hung from the mirror and little dogs bobbing their heads in the back window, which weren't. (The back window things have disappeared, but the hangings are still around.)
After admitting to yourself that you're *reacting* like a bigot, no matter what you think that you think, you have two choices: 1. Decide that that's okay and learn to embrace it. 2. Decide that you don't like that about yourself, and get counseling, therapy, or whatever else you need to make "I don't hate them" TRUE--because it blamed well is untrue now!
P.S. The WHOLE park? I'd be interested to see the park you can use all of to play soccer in. (Doing a LARP, yes . . .)

It's funny how, when someone thinks of Hispanics...the first thing they think of, is Mexican. Not all Hispanics are Mexican...
Anywho...what do i think of their culture? Well, i think that they have a very rich culture with lots of tradition. Personally, i find that Latino men are very sexy...and my boyfriend happens to be a Mexican (how 'bout that!)...and you know what i found out? The guy has a beating heart and he eats and he breathes just like the rest of us...He's human, just like you an me.
Look guy, you say that you don't hate 'em....yet, you hate everything about 'em. How does that work? Like someone already said...too much hate isn't good for the system. Just because, you perhaps had ONE mishap with ONE individual of the Hispanic community...doesn't mean that everyone is bad. Just because there are rapists out there...doesn't mean that everyone's a rapist. Peace.

Well culture and what they do in your area is different. Yeah I'm hispanic and i dont like some hispanics but for totally different reasons than you. I dont appreciate the whole shirts off thing, but ultimately how does it bother you, i think if anything it provides an opportunity to say to yourself that you dont believe the new york fifth avenue version of the human body. And the last name of the car is like decorative license plates, i would agree if they posed some sort of driving danger, but i haven't heard that they do. And the soccer thing, well it requires a big field, just like football, but i prefer to play it in a not so big field mostly because i dont like to tun that much.

My fiance is Hispanic and he does not sit outside with his shirt off; he's too busy working (and not as a gardner, landscaper, or any other jobs that people might associate with Mexicans/Hispanics), he has a name that is pronounced how it looks, he does not know how to play soccer, nor does he have or will ever have his name put on his car. Stop it with the stereotypes. Please. And have you ever stopped to think that maybe they don't like your culture. What makes you think your culture is so superior?

Every culture has their good and bad qualities. As far as the Hispanic culture goes, it depends. Mexicans are just one of the many branches of the Hispanic culture and what you describe is not part of every single Hispanic culture.

You are generalizing way too much- I'm German, Native American and Mexican. You just insulted a whole big group, including my Puerto Rican husband, and my fellow Native Americans.
I'm too educated to identify with any of what your talking about- all the Latinos I know are educated and well-spoken and I never see them with their shirts off.
Plus we are in the military and we fight for this country- Red, White & Blue, baby!

I love Mexicans. They are soooo sexy! So when they have their shirts off, I get all hot and bothered...Hispanic names are pronounced differently than American names, Captain Smarty. Maybe they don't like how, when they become American citizens, you won't let them play soccer because they're Hispanic. If it was white people, you'd be fine with it...Grow up. Slavery doesn't exist here anymore. Neither should that racist mentality.

I love it! My husband is Hispanic, and I even learned to speak fluent spanish and cook his favorite dishes. Maybe you're just jealous of thier hot Latin looks and sexy accents!
